Who we are
The Karma Compass is an astrology consultation practice based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, reachable at upadhyaymrid@gmail.com and +91 74473 79117. By booking a session or a report through this website you agree to the terms on this page.
What we offer
We offer the following, at the prices shown on the booking page at the time you book:
- Specialised Consultation, a one-to-one session of 30 to 45 minutes on specific problems, with follow-ups on those problems
- Full Chart / Palm Reading, a one-to-one session on your complete birth chart or palms, usually 45 to 60 minutes, with unlimited follow-ups
The price you see at checkout is the price we charge. The amount is decided by our server from the session you selected, never by your browser.
Booking and payment
Payments are collected through Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials. A booking is confirmed only after Razorpay reports a successful payment and our server verifies the payment signature. Until that happens a booking stays pending and no session is scheduled.
You must be 18 or older to book. Please give accurate birth details, since the reading is calculated from them and a wrong birth time produces a different chart.
The nature of a reading
Astrology, palmistry, and numerology readings are offered for guidance and reflection. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and they are not a diagnosis or a prediction of certainty. Decisions you take after a reading remain your own.
We do not offer readings on questions about death, terminal illness, pregnancy outcomes, or legal guilt, and we may decline any request we are not comfortable answering. If we decline before any work has begun, you are refunded in full.
Sessions, rescheduling, and no-shows
Session slots are confirmed within 24 hours of a verified payment. You may reschedule once at no cost by telling us at least 24 hours before the agreed slot. If you do not appear for a confirmed slot and did not tell us at least 24 hours in advance, that session is treated as delivered.
Your material and ours
Photographs and documents you upload are used only to prepare your reading. The written report we deliver is for your personal use. Please do not resell it or publish it as your own work.

Limits
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you book is the one that applies to that booking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
